Hi there! My name is Shikha Taneja and I’m so glad you found my health and fitness website.
Like many people, I’ve struggled with my weight over the years. I’ve always loved food, but my unhealthy eating habits and sedentary lifestyle led me to gain weight steadily in my 20s. At one point, I realized that I needed to make a change. So, I made the decision to push myself and incorporate regular exercise into my routine.
The journey was far from easy. There were days when I wanted to quit, and there were moments when I questioned if it was all worth it. Although I hated working out at first, I forced myself to stick to a consistent regimen and eventually grew to love exercise and how it made me feel. The journey wasn’t easy, but through dedication and patience, I lost the stubborn weight and transformed my health.
Then came the post-pregnancy struggle. Motherhood brought its own set of challenges, including weight gain that seemed stubborn and unyielding. I tried every quick fix and fad diet with only temporary results. It wasn’t until I learned to make simple lifestyle changes – preparing healthy meals, establishing an exercise routine, getting better sleep – that I finally began seeing long-term changes in my body.
My blog will share the tips and strategies I’ve learned along my fitness journey – how small sustainable changes to your daily habits can lead to incredible results over time.
